How to Delete Someone from Facebook Messenger
You can't technically 'delete' someone from Messenger, but you can block them! Just go to their chat, tap their name, and select 'Block'.

Muting a conversation might help if you just don't want to see their messages. Go to the chat, tap the info icon, and select 'Mute'.
In my experience, the easiest way is to unfriend them on Facebook. This will also make them disappear from Messenger.
Remove the conversation: Open Messenger, swipe left on the conversation you want to delete, and tap 'Delete'. Easy peasy!
