You can't really delete sponsored ads, but you can hide them by clicking the three dots on the ad and selecting 'Hide ad.'
Just click the three dots on the top right of the ad and hit 'Hide ad.' Boom, ad begone!
You can't fully delete them, but hiding them is the next best thing! Hit the three dots and select 'Hide ad.'
