First thing's first, you gotta quit Steam completely. Don't just close the window; make sure it's not running in the background. Then, find your way to the Applications folder and drag the Steam app to the Trash. But wait, there's more! To really clean house, you'll need to remove the leftover files in Library > Application Support > Steam. Don't forget to empty the Trash when you're done to officially say goodbye to Steam.

Just drag Steam from Applications to the Trash. Boom, done. If you're a neat freak, clean up the leftovers in Library.

Honestly, why delete Steam? Think of the games! But if you must, remember to back up any saved games you can't part with.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
