Look at the packaging if you have it. Hot Wheels often prints the copyright year on the back, which isn't the exact manufacturing date but can get you pretty close. Especially useful for those mint condition collectibles still in their boxes!

Check under the car! The base of a Hot Wheels car often has a stamped date that represents when the mold was made, not necessarily when your specific car was produced. This date gives you a rough idea but keep in mind, the actual production of the car might be years later.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
