How to disable a Skype account?
You can't actually disable a Skype account, but you can close it. Go to your Microsoft account settings, and look for the option to close your account. Remember, this will affect other Microsoft services too!

Just stop using it. Problem solved!
I've done this before, and it was a bit tricky. You'll need to contact Skype support if you want to fully deactivate your account. Otherwise, just remove your personal info and quit using it.
If you want to disable your Skype account temporarily, just sign out and delete the app from your devices. Easy-peasy!
Just chill and log out. No need to go through the hassle of deactivating it!
