You'll need to take out the enemy ship's engines using your weapons. Once disabled, you can get up close and initiate boarding by pressing the appropriate button prompt.

Shoot the engines, then fly close and hit that board button when prompted. Easy peasy!

I’ve done this multiple times! Aim for the engines, disable them, and then move in close to board. Press the button prompt that appears!
