Open the Pokemon GO app, go to catch a Pokemon, and toggle the AR switch at the top right of the screen. Easy peasy!

Just hit the AR button on the top right when you're about to catch a Pokemon. Done and dusted!

When you encounter a Pokemon, you'll see an AR toggle in the upper right corner of your screen. Flip that switch off and voila, no more AR!
