First, you'll need a Torx T8H screwdriver to remove the screws. Start by taking off the battery cover and any batteries. Next, remove the screws from the back of the controller, including the one hidden under the sticker in the battery compartment. Carefully pry apart the shell using a spudger or flat tool. Voila, you're in!

Disassembling the Xbox controller is straightforward but takes some finesse. You'll need a Torx T8H screwdriver. Start by removing the battery cover and batteries. Then remove all screws from the back, including the hidden one under the sticker. Carefully pry the controller apart with a flat tool.

Just peel off the rear sticker, unscrew, and carefully pry apart the halves. Simple enough!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
