To get a hold in MLB The Show, bring in a relief pitcher in a save situation (when your team is leading). The pitcher must maintain the lead, record at least one out, and leave the game without giving up the lead. Easy peasy!

To get a hold, you need to bring in a reliever in a save situation, maintain the lead, and leave with the lead intact. Just make sure they don't blow it!

I've gotten holds by making sure my reliever enters during a save situation and keeps the lead intact. Just don't let them get too comfortable out there!

Keep the lead while pitching as a reliever, and voila, you've got your hold!
