To pull off a Mystic Arte in Tales of Vesperia, make sure your Over Limit gauge is at level 3 or higher. Then, just use an Arcane, Altered, or Burst Arte and hold the Attack button. Boom, flashy finisher!

Mystic Artes in Vesperia require you to be in Over Limit 3. Use an Arcane Arte, hold the normal attack button, and voila!
