Using Amiibo in Animal Crossing on Switch is pretty easy and super fun! First, make sure you've got your Amiibo or Amiibo card ready. Then, while you're in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, head over to the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. From there, choose the 'Invite Amiibo Camper' option. All you gotta do next is hold your Amiibo or Amiibo card to the NFC touchpoint on your right Joy-Con or the middle of your Pro Controller, and voilà! Your favorite character will visit your campsite. Remember, some characters might ask you to complete certain tasks before they agree to move to your island, but hey, that's part of the fun!

Just tap the amiibo to your Switch's NFC reader and you're good to go. Easy peasy.

Honestly, I've tried using Amiibo in ACNH and I feel it's kinda overrated. It's cool and all but doesn't add THAT much to the game.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
