Just turn on both controllers, sign into two different accounts, and join the lobby. Easy peasy!
Remember, split-screen only works for Battle Royale duos and squads. No Creative mode for this one, folks!
From personal experience, just sign in your second controller by holding the X button, navigate to Battle Royale, and have a blast!
