Simple trick: build a small pier or use a pre-existing one and carefully sail in. Use the rudder to slow down as you approach. Easy peasy!

Just beach it! Sail right up onto the shore. It damages the boat a bit, but it won't float away. Viking style!

Trust me, I鈥檝e been there! Build a dock with wood and stone, then gently steer your boat alongside it. Use the ladder to climb out and tie your boat down with some imagination (or just hope it stays put because Valheim physics can be a bit wild!).

I recommend installing some posts or a fence near the shore to 'catch' your boat. It won't drift away this way, and you can hop off without worries.
