Just set your Steam download region to the one closest to you. It's literally in Steam's settings. Faster speed, problem solved.

Honestly, sometimes the best thing to do is download games at night or during off-peak hours. Internet speeds tend to be faster when fewer people are online.

Wanna speed up your Steam downloads? First off, make sure no other apps are hogging your internet. Pause any ongoing downloads or updates on your PC or other devices. Switching from a WiFi connection to a wired one can also give you a speed boost. And don't forget to check Steam's download settings - you can pick a server closer to you for faster downloads. Sometimes, simply restarting both Steam and your router can work wonders!

Change your DNS settings to a faster one like Google DNS or Cloudflare. It made my downloads way quicker!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
