Gotcha covered! To download the Animal Crossing 2.0 update, just start up your game on your Nintendo Switch. Your console should automatically prompt you to update if it's connected to the internet. If it doesn't, press the '+' button on the Animal Crossing game icon on your Switch's home screen, go to 'Software Update', and then 'Via the Internet'. Should be smooth sailing from there!

Make sure your Switch is online, then it's cake! Press '+' on the Animal Crossing icon and click 'Software Update'. Boom, you're set!

Honestly, I tried updating directly and it was a hassle. Just make sure your Switch鈥檚 internet is stable. The rest is automated.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
