Honestly, it's just like buying a game on Steam. Find the DLC, click buy, and Steam handles the rest. Easy peasy!
From my experience, you can navigate to the Steam page for Total War: Warhammer, find the DLC section, buy what you want, and it'll download automatically. Took me like 3 minutes!
