Try this: go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Test Network Speed & Statistics. This will show if your network speed is the issue. If it's still slow, restart your console and router.

Make sure your Xbox is using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi; it's usually much faster and more stable. Also, pause any other downloads or streaming services on your network to prioritize your Xbox.

Pro tip: Downloading games late at night or during off-peak hours can sometimes be faster because fewer people are online. It's like having extra bandwidth all to yourself!

Close any games or apps running in the background, set your Xbox to Instant-On mode in the power settings, and make sure you鈥檙e not gaming online while downloading. These small tweaks can really speed things up!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
