Get Spotify Premium first. Next, open the app, go to the song/playlist, and tap the download icon. Easy peasy!
You can't download songs with Spotify Free. Upgrade to Premium, then find the download button in your playlists or albums.
This one's from personal experience: After getting Premium, I download entire playlists by toggling the download switch at the top. Works like a charm!
