You can draw Super Mario Maker by sketching Mario holding a stylus, standing in front of a customized level. Start with a basic outline of Mario, add details like his hat and mustache, and then incorporate elements from the game like blocks and enemies!

Just grab a picture of Mario and a piece of paper. Trace over Mario, then add some bricks and Goombas around him. Boom, you're done!

From experience, I suggest drawing Mario with a tool belt and a builder's hat. Then, add in some iconic Super Mario elements like question blocks, pipes, and maybe a Koopa Troopa or two for flair!
