Just grab a mini drill and a tap set; size depends on your screw. Drill out the rivets, tap it, and screw it. Easy peasy.

Drilling and tapping Hot Wheels cars is a cool way to customize them, maybe to swap wheels or for custom modifications! First, you'll need a small drill bit, around 1/16" or 1.5mm, and a matching tap for the screw size you're planning to use. Carefully drill into the rivet at the bottom of the car. Go slow to avoid damaging the car. After drilling, use the tap to create threads inside the hole you've drilled. Now, you can screw in a small screw that fits the threads. Remember, patience is key!

Honestly? I wouldn't bother. Drilling and tapping is risky and could ruin the car. Better to leave them as they are and appreciate the original design.
