Just grab a 1/16" drill bit and a steady hand. Drill straight down into the rivet until the head pops off. No need to overcomplicate things!

Drilling out Hot Wheels rivets is easier than it might seem! First, you'll need a small drill bit, around 1/16" or slightly larger, and a hand drill. Start by locating the rivets on the bottom of the car. They're usually at the front and back. Gently drill into the center of the rivet until the head comes off. Be careful not to drill too deep to avoid damaging the internal parts or the car body. Patience is key!

Honestly, why would you wanna drill out those rivets? Part of the fun is keeping those little cars intact as they are!
