Not every game lets you drop items, so if you can't do it, the game might not support it!
From my experience, in some games, you might need to go into the settings or controls menu to find the specific drop key!
If you're on mobile, it might vary by game. Usually, long-press the item in your inventory, and an option to drop it should appear.
