Honestly, just forget about trying to drop cash. Rockstar didn’t make it easy for a reason. Focus on playing missions together and share those rewards!

Here's a workaround for ya: if you're desperate to give cash, put a bounty on your friend, let them take you out, and voila – they get the cash! Not the most elegant solution, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures, right?

Dropping cash in GTA Online isn't as straightforward as you might hope. The game doesn't let you directly drop money from your inventory for others. However, you can share cash from completed jobs with your friends. After finishing a job, access the 'Inventory' menu in the 'Interaction Menu', then select 'Cash', and from there you can choose the 'Share Cash from Last Job' option to split your earnings with your buddies. Just remember, it only works with cash earned from jobs!

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
