First, make sure your tank has multiple smoke grenades loaded. Then, just keep spamming that smoke grenade button until your enemies can't see anything but a cloud of confusion!
From experience, load out a smoke discharger-equipped tank, bind your smoke key, and just keep hitting it like your life depends on it. Works like a charm!
Forget the manual, just hold down the 'G' key if you're using default controls. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!
Just use one smoke, it's all you need. Any more and you're just showing off.
