Editing your Animal Crossing island starts with unlocking the Island Designer app on your NookPhone in-game. You'll get this after you've completed the main storyline, which involves getting K.K. Slider to perform on your island. Then, Tom Nook will give you the app, and from there, you can start terraforming! This means you can create or remove waterways, cliffs, and paths. Don't forget, you can also move buildings and trees around to perfect your island's layout!

Just start playing and you'll figure it out. There's no right or wrong way to design your island. If u ask me, just have fun with it and let your island grow with you. You'll unlock everything you need as you go.

Hot take: Don't bother editing your island too much. The game is more fun when you focus on fishing, collecting, and visiting friends. Over-designing takes away the chill vibe of Animal Crossing.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
