Go to the game settings in War Thunder, find the 'Networking' tab, and toggle 'Cross-platform play' to 'On.' Boom, you're all set!
War Thunder has cross-play automatically enabled by default on most platforms. If you're having issues, check your platform's account settings.
From my experience, you just need to make sure your friends are on your in-game friend list regardless of their platform, and cross-play works out of the box!
