Hold down the power button for about 10-15 seconds until you hear three beeps, and the system will turn off. Turn it back on and go to Settings > System Settings > Restore PS3 System.

Hold the power button until you hear three beeps, release, and then let the system do its thing. Easy peasy!

Turn off your PS3 completely, then press and hold the power button. When you hear a second beep, release the button. This puts the PS3 in Safe Mode, where you can select 'Restore PS3 System' to factory reset it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
