Just smash a couple of those purple orbs or red hearts found in the Corruption/Crimson biomes and wait for the game to tell ya 'A meteorite has landed!'. Then just walk around the world until you find a smoking crater filled with shiny space rocks. Easy peasy.

Honestly, just keep playing. Meteorites show up eventually if you're breaking those orbs/hearts. I swear half the time I find them by accident when I'm not even looking. Good luck!

idk why everyone makes a big deal about finding meteorites. Just play the game and you'll stumble upon it eventually. ?

Finding a meteorite in Terraria is like a treasure hunt! After destroying a Shadow Orb or Crimson Heart, there's a chance each night (50% chance) for a meteorite to land. It typically lands in the outer two-thirds of the map. Keep an eye on the notification that pops up saying 'A meteorite has landed!' To find it, just pick a direction and start exploring; listen for the unique background music when you're close. Don't forget to bring a pickaxe capable of mining meteorite blocks, like the gold pickaxe or better. Happy hunting!
