Fusion cores are like the hot sauce of Fallout 4, you want 'em on everything but they're kinda scarce. The best ways to find them are by exploring basements, old buildings, and military sites. Don't forget to check those power armor stations too! Sometimes, you can buy them from vendors if you have enough caps. Also, keep an eye out for generators, some of them still have fusion cores you can snatch.

Just buy 'em. Seriously, save up your caps and hit the vendors. It's the fastest way to get your power armor moving if you don't feel like playing hide and seek with fusion cores.

I stumbled upon a fusion core in a dumpster behind a diner. Moral of the story? Check EVERYWHERE. These things pop up in the weirdest places, not just military sites and power stations. Sometimes, you get lucky just by wandering around.
