Easy, just look at the HP and attack details. If they're ridiculously high or the font looks off, you've got a fake. Real Pokemon cards have balanced stats and very consistent font usage!

One quick tip to spot a fake Pokemon card is to check the card's texture and color. Real cards have a distinct, smooth finish, and their colors are vibrant but not overly bright. Also, compare the card with another card known to be genuine, especially looking at the font size and style used for the text. Another solid method is the light test; hold the card up to a light source, and if you can see light through it, it's likely a fake since real cards have a layer that blocks light.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
