Finding more bugs in Animal Crossing is all about knowing where and when to look! Different bugs appear during different times of the day and year. Make sure to check trees, flowers, the ground, and even the air. Oh, and don’t forget to sneak up on them by holding 'A' when you have your net out, so you don’t scare them away!

Pro tip: Rainy days bring out rare bugs, especially snails on bushes! Also, each bug has its own season, so keep an eye on the critterpedia to see which bugs are available to catch each month.

Honestly, sometimes it's just about luck. But playing at different times helps. Nighttime and early morning are golden for certain rare bugs. Don’t forget to visit mystery islands too; some bugs only appear there!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
