First tip: always check the end-caps and behind the main display. Employees often stock new items there first, and sometimes rare finds get hidden behind the more common cars.

I disagree with all the early bird nonsense. Just befriend the employees! They can give you the inside scoop on restock days or even keep a rare find aside for you if you鈥檙e nice.

Gotta wake up early, folks. Hit the Walmart right when they open, especially on days they restock (usually Tuesdays or Thursdays). That's when the fresh crates are out, and you'll have first dibs on the rare Hot Wheels.

Luck. Pure luck. That鈥檚 it. You find rare Hot Wheels by being at the right place at the right time. All these strategies are just wishful thinking.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
