If you know how to factor, sometimes you can get the roots by factoring the quadratic equation. For example, (x - r1)(x - r2) = 0 gives roots r1 and r2.

Honestly, just use an online calculator. Why do in minutes what a computer can do in seconds?

Easy peasy! Just use the quadratic formula: x = [-b 卤 sqrt(b虏 - 4ac)] / 2a. Plug in your values for a, b, and c from the equation ax虏 + bx + c = 0, and boom, you've got your roots!

Back in high school, I remember finding the roots using the quadratic formula all the time. It's super reliable and works every single time. Go for it!
