Finding Sky Islands in Terraria is like going on a treasure hunt, but instead of a map, you use gravity! One popular method is to craft a bunch of Gravitation Potions. These potions let you reverse gravity for yourself, allowing you to 'fall' upwards into the sky. Just be careful not to overshoot your ascent or you might miss the islands entirely. Keep an eye out for the unique background and landforms that signal you're close.

Hot take: Don't bother with fancy potions or gear. Just stack up a tower of dirt or stone as high as you can and start building bridges in both directions. It's not elegant, but it gets the job done. Plus, you can use those bridges for later sky exploration. Sky Islands won't know what hit 'em.

Here's a pro tip from someone who's found more Sky Islands than they can count: Use the Meteor Staff. When it's nighttime, shoot the staff straight up. The meteors will eventually hit an invisible barrier if there's an island above you. Not only does this method help you find those elusive Sky Islands, but it also looks super cool at night!
