How to Fish Easier in Stardew Valley
EarningOunce路8 months agoFishing in Stardew can be tricky at first, but it gets easier with practice! Make sure to upgrade your fishing rod as soon as you can. The higher the quality of your rod, the easier it is to catch fish. Also, using bait and tackle can really help make things smoother. Bait increases the bite rate of fish, while tackle can add various benefits like making fish less likely to escape. Another tip is to focus on the sound cues and not just the visuals; the sound of a biting fish is a great indicator to click!

Don't bother, fishing's too hard in Stardew. Just buy fish from the traveling cart lady on Fridays and Sundays if you really need them for something.
Max out that fishing skill and invest in a good rod ASAP. Also, coffee is your friend. It makes you move faster, which is surprisingly helpful for getting to those high-spots and reacting quicker in the fishing minigame.
Just keep practicing! Seriously, I sucked at fishing when I first started playing Stardew Valley, but it's all about getting a feel for the minigame. The more you do it, the better you'll get. Also, pay attention to the type of fish you're trying to catch; some are naturally harder to catch than others. Stick to the easier ones at the beginning to build up your skill and confidence.
