Just toss your line near a fish shadow and smash that 'A' button when it dips. Easy peasy!

Fishing in Animal Crossing is super chill! Just head to any body of water like a river, ocean, or pond. Look for a fish shadow in the water, then equip your fishing rod from your inventory. Cast your line by pressing 'A' when the shadow is in front of you. Wait for the fish to bite; you'll see the bobber dip. Press 'A' again immediately to reel it in. Patience is key – some fish are quicker to bite than others!

Gotta say, sometimes fish are just too fast. Remember, not pressing 'A' fast enough means the fish gets away. Timing is everything. Good luck!

Honestly, fishing's all about the timing. Wait for the bobber to dive down, then hit 'A' right away. Missed it? No worries, fish are aplenty in Animal Crossing. Keep trying!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
