Try recalibrating the controller in the PS5 settings first. If that doesn't work, you might need to clean the stick's base; dust can mess up the sensors. A little bit of compressed air goes a long way!

Have you tried turning it off and on again? No, seriously. Restart your console and plug the controller back in.

I had the same issue with my DualSense. I took it apart (following a YouTube tutorial) and carefully cleaned the potentiometer. Worked like a charm!

You might need some contact cleaner. Just spray a tiny bit where the stick meets the controller body. Make sure it鈥檚 safe for electronics!

If all else fails, use the warranty! Contact Sony support; they鈥檙e pretty good with hardware issues.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
