First, make sure your HDMI cable is firmly connected and try switching the HDMI port on your TV. No sound? Check your TV's audio settings to ensure it's set to the right audio output!

Make sure your console and TV firmware are up to date. Sometimes a quick software update does the trick!

Go to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output on your Xbox Series S and make sure your audio settings match your setup (headphones, speakers, etc.). Quick reset might save the day!

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Seriously, a simple power cycle fixes a lot of Xbox issues, including audio.

Check if your controller needs an update. Go to Settings > Devices & Connections > Accessories and see if there's an update available for your controller.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
