First, try a simple reboot of your console and controller. If it's still not working, check for any debris around the button and clean it with compressed air. If that doesn't work, you might need to open up the controller to check for internal issues, but be careful as this can void your warranty!

Try updating the firmware of your Xbox Series X controller through your console's settings menu. This can sometimes resolve button issues!

Honestly, just give Microsoft Support a call. Sometimes DIY solutions can make things worse.

I had the same problem last month. I opened my controller with a T8 screwdriver, cleaned the inside with isopropyl alcohol, and the LB button worked like new!

If nothing works, you might just need to buy a replacement. Controllers aren't indestructible, unfortunately.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
