First, make sure your headset isn't too loud—turn down the volume a bit just in case. Next, check for any loose connections or cables; a snug fit often solves echo issues. If all else fails, try using the Xbox Party chat settings to mute and unmute your mic.

In my experience, echo happens from having game audio too loud in the same room. Try muting the TV or using headphones only.

You might have an echo because of a bad connection. Unplug and replug your headset, or try a different controller port.

Quick fix: Disable 'Mic Monitoring' in your Xbox settings. It usually gets rid of that pesky echo!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
