Back up your save files first, then try verifying the integrity of game files through your platform (like Steam). It could solve any corruption issues.

To fix old saves in Subnautica, make sure the game is updated to the latest version, then try renaming old save folders in the 'SavedGames' directory. It worked for me when I changed 'slot0000' to a different number!

Sometimes a mod might break old saves. Remove or update any mods you have installed to see if that helps.

Honestly, just start a new game. It's a good excuse to dive back into the ocean and re-explore everything!

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
