Adding a cooling fan or a cooling pad can help keep the temperature down. Also, consider replacing the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU – it's a bit advanced but can make a big difference!

First, make sure your PS3 Fat is in a well-ventilated area and not cramped up in an enclosed space. Clean the vents and fan with compressed air to remove any dust buildup. Trust me, a little airflow goes a long way!

Make sure to keep your PS3 out of direct sunlight and away from other heat sources. Simple, but effective!

Honestly, it might be time to upgrade to a PS4 or PS5. The newer models handle heat much better and come with so many awesome games and features!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
