How to Fix PS3 Analog Stick

Just go online and buy a new controller. Sometimes it's not worth the hassle. Trust me, you’ll be happier this way.
From my experience, the best way to deal with a stubborn PS3 analog stick is to open up the controller and clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Worked like a charm for me!
If the analog stick is drifting, you might need to recalibrate it. Go into your PS3 settings, under 'Accessory Settings' and follow the calibration instructions.
