First thing: make sure your PS5 is in a well-ventilated area with no obstruction to its air vents. Keeping it in a cramped space can turn it into a mini furnace!

Try placing your PS5 vertically. It helps some users with better airflow and cooling. Sounds weird, but physics can be funny like that.

Overheating? You probably just need to clean out the dust bunnies. Trust me, it works wonders.

Make sure you're giving your PS5 a regular dust-off! Dust can clog the fans and vents, leading to overheating. A little canned air goes a long way.

Check if your room temperature is too high. The PS5 struggles to cool itself in a warm environment. Lower the room temperature and you may notice a difference.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
