Give the classic 'percussive maintenance' a try! Tap gently on top of the Xbox 360 while pressing the eject button. Sometimes, a little love tap can nudge the tray loose.

If your Xbox 360 disc tray is stuck, try holding the console vertically and pressing the eject button at the same time. Gravity might help free it!

Unplug your Xbox 360, then plug it back in. Sometimes a simple reset helps the electronics align properly.

I once used a paperclip to manually eject the tray. Locate the tiny manual eject hole on the front panel, insert the paperclip, and gently push to release the tray.

Hot take: Replace the whole console with an Xbox Series X/S. Problem solved and you get better graphics!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
