First, check the batteries or try a different set. If it's still acting up, make sure the sync button isn't stuck and re-sync it with your console. You can also try cleaning the buttons and fret sensors with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. If all else fails, it might be time to consider a replacement.

I just replaced the strum bar microswitches on mine and it worked perfectly after that! If you鈥檙e handy with a soldering iron, give it a shot.

Check for any loose connections or broken wires inside. Sometimes, a little bit of soldering can go a long way!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
