How to Fix Xbox One Controller Joystick?

I've fixed mine by recalibrating it through the Xbox settings menu. Go to Devices & Accessories, select your controller, and then choose Configure. It worked like a charm!

First, try cleaning around the joystick with compressed air. If that doesn't work, you'll need to open the controller and reseat the joystick module. You can find a bunch of tutorials on YouTube for this.

Sometimes, the joystick drift is caused by dust or debris. Just clean it with a bit of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab and it should be good to go.

You’ll need to replace the joystick module if cleaning doesn’t fix it. I grabbed one on Amazon for cheap and followed an online guide. Worked perfectly!
