To visit another island in Animal Crossing, you first gotta be friends with the person whose island you wanna visit. Then, head over to the airport and talk to Orville at the counter. Choose 'I wanna fly!' and then pick 'Visit someone.' You can either visit a nearby friend over local wireless or go the online route to visit faraway friends. Make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet if you're flying long distances!

Honestly, sometimes it feels more complicated than it needs to be. Just remember, the Dodo Airlines at the airport is your gateway to adventure or socializing. And make sure you've got that Nintendo Online subscription if you're heading to distant islands.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
