Upgrading your island in Animal Crossing is all about taking it one step at a time! Start by unlocking the Museum, then the Nook’s Cranny shop. Don’t forget to build the Able Sisters shop for all your fashion needs. Earn Nook Miles by completing tasks and use them to pay off your island development loans to Tom Nook. Engage with visitors and fulfill their requests to make your island more popular. Plant flowers, add bridges and inclines, and keep your island clean to improve its rating. Once you achieve a 5-star rating, your island is fully upgraded!

Honestly, it's all about the bells. Earn as many as you can, and spend them wisely on island improvements. More bells, more stuff, better island.

Just play the game, lol. But seriously, focus on improving your island bit by bit. Decorate, participate in events, and talk to your villagers. There's no rush; enjoy the journey!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
