To gather milk in Stardew Valley, you first need to have adult cows or goats on your farm. Once you have either of these animals, make sure they're happy and healthy by feeding them daily and letting them outdoors when the weather is nice. You'll then need a Milk Pail, which you can buy from Marnie's Ranch. Equip the Milk Pail, approach your cow or goat, and use the tool to collect milk!

You gotta make sure those cows or goats are feelin' loved first. Pet them every day, keep 'em fed, and let them enjoy some sunshine. Then, with your milk pail in hand (courtesy of Marnie鈥檚 Ranch), milk away! I've got farms across three different saves, and happy animals definitely produce more milk. Plus, it鈥檚 just nice to be nice.

Don't bother with goats, stick to cows. Easier and you get more out of them in the long run.

Just buy a milk pail from Marnie and click on your cow, dude. It's not rocket science.
